My name is Tracy Colangelo and I have been in the Early Childhood field for 36 years. Twenty-nine of the those years have been providing childcare for working families. I chose family childcare as my career because my primary goal is to stimulate the child's growth and development, while igniting intellectual curiosity. At this age, children are rapidly developing cognitive, language, social and motor skills. They play, discover, and explore. By offering developmentally appropriate activities the child can reach his/her maximum potential.

• DCFS Licensed
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
• ECE Credential Level 4
• CPR and First Aid certified, completed DCFS required SIDS/Shaken Baby Syndrome training, Certified in Food Handling
• Continuing education 15+ hours a year
• Active member of the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn Child Care Association, Executive Board Member for 15 years.
